Applications for October 2009: selection of Gates Scholars now completed
The Trust has now completed the selection of Gates Scholars for October 2009. If you have not heard from the Gates Cambridge Trust about your application you may assume that you have not been successful in th Gates competition but that your application is being looked at by the other Cambridge Trusts for the awards they offer.
Graduate application information for October 2010
Below are details of the graduate application deadlines for the October 2010 entry.
- US citizens: the GRADSAF form and supporting documents must arrive at the University by 15 October 2009.
- Non-US citizens: the GRADSAF form and supporting documents must arrive at the University by 15 December 2009.
Full details about graduate studies in Cambridge will be available in the 2010-11 Graduate Studies Prospectus from mid-September 2009. However, applicants may apply for admission for October 2010 from 1 September 2009 from the 2010-11 application page.

NIH Oxford Cambridge Program
If you are a US citizen interested in earning a doctorate in biomedical research, you may like to consider applying also to the NIH Oxford Cambridge Scholars Program. This program provides full funding for students to undertake collaborative PhD research between labs at NIH and the University of Cambridge; such awards can be held in conjunction with a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. The deadline for applications to NIH is 4 January 2010.
